Rebuilding my Address book

Well what fun! I have been spending some time trying to rebuild my address book that was lost the first time I lost my .Mac, this time being a LOT smarter about where I store it.

If we know each other feel free to leave me current contact, mailing, email, date, ect info. However, as a loose rule, I don't fill up my address book with pseudonyms, I have an area where I write them down but if I don't know you well enough to know your real name then I probably don't need stuff like your address, number, ect

So I have been getting some new outfits, lopped off my long hair, and have been keeping the shaving neat.
Today I bought an expensive nice watch, got home, and after removing two links it actually fits like a glove.
Awesome.

EDIT!
Since there is a demand for pics.
Here is the most recent pic of me;

Here is a pic of my pimpin new watch, the plastic is still on the face and it needs a polish but it's a expensive piece that I got cheap by buying an old model from an outlet. ^_^;

Ayup!

Is there any song you'll never grow tired of hearing? If so, what is it, how long have you loved it, and why?

Clinton Kelly of TV's What Not To Wear suggests a straightforward method for inviting the right amount of people to your party. His easy equation takes your home's space into account and a few simple rules for getting your numbers right.

Divide the square footage of your home by five (the approximate number of feet each guest needs in personal space). That number equals how many people can fit comfortably in your home. Then, assume that 80 percent of your invitees will accept the invitation, but that five of those people won't end up coming. For example, if you've got 100 square feet of space in your home, you can fit 20 guests. But really, you can invite 25 because just 16 will plan to come in the first place, and one will claim to be violently ill the day of the party.

Oh and also Goodbye MySpace! I deleted all my myspace accounts. I used to use it up a storm but it's become more and more trash and I just don't use it or need it anymore.
I also remembered I had a VampireFreaks I was using for promotion and I deleted that too. Maybe I should just make a huge sweep and see how many social networks I can remove....

So, I submitted an old demo for the Further Confusion DJ dances and it didn't pay off, I wasn't on the ticket. I'm a little sad but it's the biggest furcon on the US and only six DJ slots for the official dances. There is lots of people shooting for those spots.
I know some of the people that got spots and I know they are perdy rocking DJs, plus industrial is not a big main room hit.

ANYWAYS, what I found so hilarious I had to post about was the email JUST above the lineup email, which I am gonna post here, unedited because I'm an asshole like that. I SO wanna just reply back to this, "Suck less and maybe you will get booked".

From: My Pet Rhino
Except for Croc who gets his own night?

And once again all the locals who have submitted sets who painstakingly drag their equipment around to play at all the local parties and support the music arts in our local fandom get completely and utterly ignored.

And Aaron's whole thing about 'There were many talented DJ's who we weren't able to include for keep us in mind for next year as we do like to change things up' is complete bull. There are some of us who have been trying for about 3 years who have yet to have been selected for a spot, yet Croc gets to play every year.

Way to change things up there.

Sorry to take so long to get back to everyone. We were hoping to be able to give exact set times, but unfortunately, we don't know the hours of the dances just yet. But we realize that some of you need to start making travel plans, so we couldn't keep you waiting any more.

First of all, gotta say every year there are more and more talented dj's in the fandom. We really enjoyed listening to every demo we received, and I personally plan to keep them loaded on my ipod for a while to keep listening to. The hard part of scheduling for the dances is not finding talented dj's, but having to limit it to the times we have available, and not being able to include all of the great dj's.

This isn't a competition. There are many factors that went into our decision of the lineup. There were many talented dj's we wern't able to include for one reason or another. But please, keep us in mind again for next year, as we do like to change things up each year, and next year might have room to include you.

For now, here's the lineup. We'll get back to you once we have the times confirmed.

Well, Chakitty Silver was waving me about coming out to Texas furcon in Febuary and shi was really bugging me about wanting to have me DJ, seems not enough industrial at the dances. Then today there was a shout out for DJs at FC. Weeeell I put in for that and I guess we are gonna take this show in the road. I know B's gonna be a sad monkey cause that means I'm taking all my gear with me. I'm a BIT worried about doing that since it's all my weekly club gear and I can't get it wrecked. Maybe if I just bring the mixer and see if the cons can supply turntables. That might be nice cause that mixer qualifies as carry on.
I guess I have some more peeps to ping then.

Inspiring, shining, rising
And when you're in my way
I'm not dividing me from you cause we're working together
Perfect in its splendor like the currents of the weather
The splinter in my center hindering all of my pleasure
Is me manifested as you in this endeavor
Once responsibility is taken I can render
Experience to be however I want to remember

Time and time again we fall in to the depths of who we are
But you can't keep running away from what you're trying to find

Put yourself through the scariest of scenarios
Enter experiences you normally wouldn't dare to go
It's all for the character and the aroogant afterglow
Of knowing it's appearance according to your patterns of growth
And what your parents handed down to you to handle
Make sure you carry torches when they're puttin out your candles
Prediction can be unkind but unwind them still
Don't erase the part of you that's responsible for your will

Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are
But you can't keep running away from what you're trying to find

Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are
But you cant keep running away from what youre tryning to find
Well I've seen you and those things you do
And the way you hide that shadow can't be good for you
Your dark defines your light

There's some utterly damaged particles to deal with
And if I stutter I'm sorry but it's hard to feel swift
When stuck in my stomach is a cannon ball anchor to life
I've been pushing it down pretending it doesn't exist
Well this is what happens when you're pissed about being pissed
You dig yourself so deep you resist just to resist
And there's no way to get back experiences that you missed
So start right now today and risk furiousness for bliss

Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are
But you can't keep running away from what you're trying to find

Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are
But you cant keep running away from what you're trying to find

Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are
Time and time again we fall into the depths of who we are

But you cant keep running away from what you're trying to find
But you cant keep running away from what you're trying to find

Bunnies Don't like
I don't question God. The Lord is my Shepherd and I shall put none above Him. Which is why I know that if it were part of God's plan for me to stop viciously condemning others based solely on their sexual preference, He would have seen fit—in His infinite wisdom and all—to have given me the tiniest bit of human empathy necessary to do so.

It's a simple matter of logic, really. God made me who I am, and who I am is a cold, anti-gay zealot. Thus, I abhor gay people because God made me that way. Why is that so hard to understand?

Here, let's start with the basic facts: I hate and fear gay people. The way they feel is different from how I feel, and that causes me a lot of confusion and anger. Everyone knows God is all-powerful. He could easily have given me the capacity to investigate what's behind those feelings rather than tell strangers in the park they're going to hell for holding hands. But God clearly has another path for me. And who am I to question His divine will?

Compassion, tolerance, understanding, basic decency, the ability to put myself in another person's position: God could have endowed me with any of those traits and yet—here is the crucial part—He didn't. Why? Because the Creator of the Universe wants me to demonize homosexuals in an effort to strip them of their fundamental human rights.

I'm sorry, but you can't possibly ask me to explain everything God does. He works in mysterious ways, remember?

Try to understand. If I were capable of thinking and acting any other way, then I'm sure I would, but God seems to be quite adamant about this one. He's just not budging at all. So unless our almighty Lord and Savior decides to change His mind about my ability to empathize on even the most basic level—which I find highly unlikely—then everyone is just going to have to accept the fact that I'm going to keep on hating homosexuals. And I know that He will fill me with the strength to remain mindless and hurtful in the face of adversity.

Which isn't to say that my faith hasn't been tested. Believe me, there have been times when I've drifted from the bitter and terrified life God has chosen for me. When my younger brother told me he was gay, it shook my faith to its very core. But here I am, 27 years later, still refusing to take his calls. Just the way God intended.

It's actually pretty astonishing how many complaints to the school board you can make regarding the new band teacher you've never met when you are filled with the Light of Christ and devoid of any real kindness or mercy toward His other children.

At the end of the day, I'm just trying to lead a good Christian life. That means going to church on Sunday, following the Ten Commandments, and fighting what I believe to be a sexual abomination through a series of petty actions and bitter comments made under my breath. Sure, I sometimes wish God would just reach into my heart and give me the ability to treat all people with, at the very least, the decency and respect they deserve as human beings. But unfortunately for that new couple who moved in three houses down, He hasn't yet.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have God's work to do.

I really don't feel well but I didn't wanna call in to work. I've been POUNDING out service calls all morning since I'm the only sysadmin in this week.

I REALLY have to clean out my closet today. It's just gone too far. It's gone too far.

I wanna sell half the stuff in my closet but that requires me KEEPING it till I can find buyers damn it.

I just bought a new Scotte hoodie and coat so I'll actually have a coat and hoodie that fit since I lost all my weight. I can't wait but I gotta deco em with stuff, because I'm like that, tearing up old shirts and band hoodies to deco others ;p

I also need to but new shirts n stuff. I've bought some but I need new work shirts too. Although I am thinking about first taking a crack at resizing my shirts myself for scuz, it could be fun.

It's been an EL-P week.

So I actually posted this to someone else's journal which as you could guess was all about destroying furry community and kill it with fire and it ended with with always pleasant "Merry Christmas. Santa is giving you AIDS in your stocking."
Of course we are talking aboutFOXmas, Instead of spewing hatred and idiocy however I would like to present an actual "adults" viewpoint on an "adult" con.

I'm going, no aids for this bunny though, thanks.
I'm not in it for "the porns" though. When I think adult con I think, "no kids" not "total unfs!". Lets be honest, I'm getting to old to be kicking it to the kids, the last anime con I went too two years ago I felt like a creepy pedophile. Is it possible it might turn in to a freakfest, maybe. I'm totally desensitized to the idea this is going to be a debacle because honestly I'm from vegas and down here we have stuff like this all the time (Fetish & Fantasy Ball, Adult entertainment expo, adult nightclubs, hell we even have the playboy club & lounge out here) and it never ends up being a debacle.
Also I've been to a few of the Frozen Oasis parties and they know how to do it right in my experience.

I'm also eight shades of `over` the whole "OMG bad press for furriez" mentality. People are either going to be open minded or not. They can care to learn the truth or pull up e621 and fur affinity and decide we are all a buncha deviants. At some point, hopefully soon, the median age of the furry community will reach a maturity level where we can get over ourselves and realize that no matter what furry will always have no more the acceptance level of that of most other subcultures people don't get like goths, otaku, ravers, burners, punks, trads, ect, ect.

Am I saying we should flaunt our sexuality about more and pretend that we are exempt from social stigmas? No, of course not, I think we should approach it like everything else in our lives and use at least a proper amount of discretion, remembering that furry isn't a escape and anything we choose to do in public will always remain as such. That said, being ASHAMED and overly secretive of said sexuality is overly repressive. Its about time and place just like anything else in life. I guess I just have a burner mentality about it, give people a sectioned off area from time to time for free expression and personal enjoyment.

The "I hope you all get AIDS" and "kill it with fire" mentality seems to me to be the hyperbolic venting of immaturity that I think is the REAL threat to the furry culture as it drives away the sane mature people and puts forth that we have the collective mentality of the 4chan b-tard community.

But, like it's said so many times before, like assholes everyone has an opinion and everyone's stinks.
